The Vascular Institute of Georgia at Cowles Clinic is devoted to the diagnosis and treatment of vascular disease. Vascular disease refers to disturbances of blood flow outside of the heart and throughout the body, more frequently known as peripheral vascular disease. Common conditions treated by our physicians include carotid artery disease, aortic aneurysms, impairment of lower extremity circulation and varicose veins.
The Vascular Institute of Georgia specializes in minimally invasive techniques to treat vascular disease. Initial evaluation is performed at Cowles Clinic. Interventional and/or surgical procedures are performed at Saint Joseph's Hospital, Atlanta and Northside Hospital, Atlanta.
