Cardinal Healthcare, a Family Practice and Urgent Care from Sandersville has expanded to the Lake Oconee area. Founded by Stacey H. Williford, Family Nurse Practitioner, Cardinal Healthcare offers wellness physicals for all age groups, walk-in visits, DOT physicals, breath alcohol testing, urine drug screen collections, minor surgical procedures, IV hydration, Botox, Filler enhancement, Hormone Replacement Therapy, and a medically supervised weight loss program.

Patients can feel comfortable knowing that Cardinal Healthcare are Board Certified Nurse Practitioners, Certified Medical Assistants and Certified Phlebotomists dedicated to our patients’ optimal health and well-being.

It is our greatest responsibility and privilege to help patients of all ages and stages live healthy and happy lives. From newborns to seniors, we proudly take care of the entire family. We take our role as your family’s medical provider extremely seriously, and work hard to create long lasting relationships with all our patients. 

For Primary Care visits, we offer easy and convenient scheduling for same day appointments. No need to wait for days or weeks!  

For sick visits, we provide Urgent Care convenience without the higher cost. Walk-in patients are welcome!

Unlike typical doctor’s offices, same day appointments are readily available with flexible scheduling, and we always welcome walk-ins. With our extended evening and weekend hours, you no longer need to take time off from work for your routine visits, follow-ups or preventive care visits.

Stacey

Stacey Hodges Williford, FNP-BC, CEO

Stacey is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She has been a Registered Nurse for over 20 years and Nurse Practitioner for over 10 years. She received her Bachelors of Nursing degree from Middle Georgia College in 2000 and her Masters of Nursing and Family Practice Nurse Practitioner degree from Georgia Southern University in 2013. Throughout her nursing career, Stacey has worked in the fields of Family Medicine, Urgent Care, Pediatrics, Hospice, Long Term Care, Medical/Surgical and Emergency Medicine. Stacey is board certified through American Nurses Credentialing Center, is a member of Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society, and is a member of American Nurses Association. She is certified in Botox and Filler Administration for Aesthetic Enhancement and Hormone Replacement Therapy, including Pellet Administration. Stacey looks forward to providing optimal care to her patients and is passionate about caring for all ages of patients across the life span in a holistic approach. Stacey was also named Nurse Practitioner of the year for the past 4 years.

Karen

Karen Gunter, FNP-C

​Karen is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner dedicated to providing compassionate, comprehensive care to patients of all ages. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Augusta University in 2021, followed by a Post-Master’s Certificate in Family Nurse Practice from Georgia College and State University in 2025. Karen is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Karen’s nursing background includes experience in inpatient cardiology, ICU stepdown, and dermatology.

​Before transitioning to nursing, she completed a Bachelor of Science in Sports Medicine from Valdosta State University in 2008. She spent over a decade working in orthopedics as a board-certified Athletic Trainer. Her clinical interests span preventive health, patient education, and aesthetic medicine—including Botox, dermal fillers, and IV hydration therapy. Karen is passionate about supporting patients in achieving their health and wellness goals through personalized, evidence-based care.

Erica

Erica K. Russell, FNP-C

​Erica Russell is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She completed her pre-nursing coursework at the University of Georgia before receiving her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree at Augusta University in 2021 and her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from Augusta University in 2025. She is certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society. Erica brings a strong background in pediatric and family care, with clinical experience rooted in high-acuity settings such as the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at the Children's Hospital of Georgia. Erica is known for her compassionate approach, attention to detail, and dedication to delivering evidence-based, patient-centered care.


She is committed to building long-term relationships with patients across the lifespan and enjoys educating individuals and families on preventive health and chronic disease management, while also managing acute health problems. Erica is especially passionate about empowering patients to take an active role in their health and wellness.

Erica values continuing education and lifelong learning, regularly staying up to date with the latest advancements in primary care. She is also pursuing additional certification in aesthetic medicine to expand her scope of practice and better serve patients interested in cosmetic and wellness treatments.

Jennifer

Jennifer Etheridge, RN/BSN, Practice Manager

Jennifer is a Registered Nurse and graduated from Georgia College and State University in Milledgeville, Georgia with a Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing. She has over 20 years of healthcare experience in a variety of medical settings including Emergency Medicine and Nephrology nursing. She is a passionate, integrity driven nurse with vast experience in providing attentive care to a diverse population of patients. She works as a collaborative team member and will to ensure the patients at Cardinal Healthcare will receive the highest level of care possible.

Erin

Erin Parker Parise, RN

Erin is a Registered Nurse and graduated from Emory’s Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing. She completed her Baccalaureate of Science in Biology from the University of Georgia. Erin is a passionate nurse with a love for helping others. She has valuable experience working in the NICU, providing specialized care to newborns and their families. Over the last decade, Erin shared her passion in serving underprivileged populations in various countries around the world. She is excited and eager to apply her skills and knowledge in her local community at Cardinal Healthcare.
