Since 1972, Atlanta Oncology Associates has specialized in the treatment of cancer to provide patients with the individualized attention they need. Our staff is experienced in the most advanced approaches to treatment. In addition, weoffer technologically superior facilities to provide the best care possible. These facilities are accredited by the American College of Radiology, the principal supervisory body for radiation oncology.

Our patients often receive other treatments such as chemotherapy, hormone therapy or surgery, as well as radiation therapy. To ensure the best possible outcome, this multidisciplinary approach requires collaboration and coordination among the specialists on a patient's treatment team.

Our Services Include:
  • Radiation Therapy - Advanced treatment for cancer using the latest radiation technology to precisely target cancer in any part of the body.
  • High-dose rate (HDR) brachytherapy - This internal radiation therapy delivers a high-dose of radiation from implants placed close to, or inside, the tumor(s) in the body in a short burst lasting a few minutes.
  • AccuBoost - We are proud to offer AccuBoost for breast cancer. It is a unique system that makes use of a mammogram to accurately treat the breast, decreasing radiation to the lung and heart.
  • Esteya - With Esteya we can treat small skin cancers in just six quick treatments using skin deep x-rays. It is effective, safe, and people are happy not to worry about surgery scars! It is great on the face.
  • Stereotactic Body and Brain Radiosurgery - Lung, brain, and spine tumors can be treated without needing surgery in one to five sessions. This is possible with advanced image guidance (IGRT) and intensity modulation of the radiation (IMRT).
  • Second Opinions Available Here - Dr. Quinn would be pleased to see you just for a second opinion and answer any questions about your current or past care. Dr. Quinn can also help with your follow-up care after treatment elsewhere.
